Job Description
seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer with industry experience designing Dynamic Loaded Foundations. MUST have Dynamic Loaded Foundations.

• Location: KBR Houston - in office - NO REMOTE
• Start Date: ASAP
• FLSA: Exempt
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under general supervision, independently applies advanced engineering techniques, makes decisions on engineering problems and methods, and represents the organization in conferences to resolve important questions or to negotiate with key engineers and officials of other organizations. Provides technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers and is consulted extensively by associates and others with a high degree of reliance placed on scientific interpretations and advice. Job role is responsible for a measurable asset such as an assigned staff and budget. Skills are typically acquired through an undergraduate degree in Engineering and a minimum of 7 years related experience, with average experience ranging from 10+ years. Prepare design calculations and sketches for civil, foundations, structures, drainage, etc. Work closely with designers to prepare construction drawings. Work closely with client to develop scopes of work and prepare material take-offs. Conduct drawing reviews and participate in project meetings.
Experience designing:
Rotary equipment foundations
• Pumps
• Fans
• Blowers
• Turbines
Reciprocating equipment foundations
• Compressors (Centrifugal / Recep.)
• Engines
• Skid-mounted equipment foundations
Qualifications:
• Minimum 10 years’ design experience in the Petrochemical Industry.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience designing dynamically loaded industrial equipment foundations, process structures, and process structure foundations. Experience should include design of tabletop structures for high-speed centrifugal compressors on piled and shallow foundations and fatigue analysis of modular structures during ocean transport.
• Experience with STAADPro and MAT3D to perform dynamic analysis preferred but not required.
