AI & Agentic Software Engineering | Enterprise Applications, Logistics & Route Optimization

Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled, forward-thinking Senior Full Stack Developer with substantial experience in .NET, C#, SQL, enterprise application development, and AI-enabled software engineering. The successful candidate will combine strong traditional engineering skills with hands-on agentic coding experience to accelerate secure, high-quality software delivery.
This role designs and maintains scalable enterprise applications, APIs, integration services, and intelligent solutions supporting logistics, route optimization, field services, and financial operations. Experience with vehicle routing problems (VRP), route solvers, or financial services is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
Full Stack Application Development
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable .NET, ASP.NET Core, C#, and SQL Server applications.
• Build modern web interfaces using Angular or React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Implement business logic, reusable components, optimized data models, queries, and stored procedures.
• Modernize legacy applications using modular, service-oriented designs and proven engineering patterns.
• Deliver solutions that meet performance, availability, scalability, security, and maintainability requirements.
Agentic Coding & AI-Driven Development
• Use AI coding tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or equivalents for implementation, debugging, refactoring, testing, and documentation.
• Translate business requirements into structured specifications, technical designs, executable work plans, and acceptance criteria for coding agents.
• Create reliable prompts, agent instructions, development guardrails, and reusable coding workflows.
• Review, test, and validate AI-generated code for accuracy, security, performance, licensing, and maintainability.
• Apply human approval gates, restricted permissions, source control, and secure execution practices for agentic development.
• Measure improvements in delivery speed, defect prevention, test coverage, and engineering productivity.
Backend Development & Enterprise APIs
• Design, build, secure, and maintain RESTful APIs, web services, reusable integration layers, and backend processing services.
• Apply OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, role-based access control, API versioning, logging, monitoring, and error handling.
• Develop asynchronous services, scheduled processing, and event-driven integrations where appropriate.
• Connect enterprise applications with operational platforms, financial systems, ERPs, and external partners.
• Maintain clear OpenAPI/Swagger specifications and robust automated API tests.
AI Integration & Business Process Optimization
• Identify opportunities to embed AI into enterprise applications to improve workflows, decisions, exception management, and productivity.
• Integrate LLM services and enterprise data through secure APIs, tool calling, orchestration, and retrieval-augmented generation when appropriate.
• Build conversational interfaces, operational assistants, recommendations, and workflow automation features.
• Distinguish between deterministic business rules and solvers versus probabilistic generative AI.
• Implement appropriate data protection, auditability, observability, human oversight, and authorization boundaries.
Logistics, Vehicle Routing & Field Service
• Build or enhance logistics, transportation, dispatch, routing, scheduling, and field-service software.
• Integrate VRP optimization engines and expose solver capabilities through reusable enterprise APIs.
• Model vehicle capacity, depot assignments, service time windows, blackout periods, driver shifts and breaks, pickup/delivery requirements, and route-duration limits.
• Support multi-depot scenarios, cost minimization, service priorities, route balancing, and dynamic re-optimization.
• Integrate mapping, geospatial visualization, travel-time estimation, and distance/cost matrices.
• Work with planners and operations teams to convert real-world constraints into solver inputs and evaluate route feasibility and business outcomes.
Architecture, Quality & Delivery
• Contribute to modular architecture, event-driven workflows, secure enterprise integrations, and cloud/hybrid/on-premises deployment patterns.
• Develop unit, integration, functional, performance, and regression tests with reliable CI/CD pipelines.
• Use Git-based review processes, vulnerability scanning, observability, and structured incident troubleshooting.
• Maintain technical diagrams, specifications, support documentation, and implementation standards.
• Collaborate across engineering, operations, architecture, cybersecurity, and business teams; mentor other developers.
Required Skills and Experience
Core Engineering
• 5–10 years of professional software development experience with significant hands-on backend engineering responsibility.
• Strong development skills in Microsoft .NET, C#, ASP.NET Core, SQL Server, and T-SQL.
• Demonstrated experience designing, building, maintaining, and integrating APIs and web services.
• Experience building full stack applications using a modern JavaScript/TypeScript framework such as Angular or React.
• Knowledge of relational database design, performance tuning, object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and secure coding.
• Practical experience with Git, code reviews, software testing, deployment, and production support.
Agentic Coding and Applied AI
• Hands-on use of Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or comparable AI coding assistants/agents.
• Ability to guide agents with clear specifications, prompts, test cases, coding instructions, and acceptance criteria.
• Ability to independently verify, debug, secure, and optimize AI-generated code.
• Experience or demonstrated practical proficiency integrating AI features with applications and enterprise business processes.
• Understanding of LLM APIs, function/tool calling, and security controls for AI-enabled workflows.
Industry and Optimization Experience
• Experience in at least one of the following: logistics, transportation, field services, cash management, banking, or financial services.
• Familiarity with VRP, route optimization solvers, travel-time/cost matrices, scheduling constraints, or dispatch applications.
• Ability to translate complex operational requirements into scalable, testable technical solutions.

• Experience with multi-depot or high-volume route optimization and scenario-based planning.
• Experience in cash-in-transit (CIT), retail cash management, banking operations, or ERP integrations such as Oracle or NetSuite.
• Knowledge of operations research, graph algorithms, constraint-based scheduling, and optimization objective functions.
• Familiarity with LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, RAG, vector databases, or secure on-premises AI deployments.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, distributed systems, queues, caching, and hybrid-cloud architectures.
• Technical leadership or mentoring experience.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered. Related Microsoft, cloud, AI engineering, or development certifications are a plus.

A strong C#/.NET backend engineer who can deliver across the entire application stack, actively uses agentic coding to improve software engineering outcomes, and is comfortable moving between business requirements, architecture, databases, APIs, user interfaces, and operational optimization. This engineer understands that AI-generated software requires the same rigorous validation and security oversight as human-written code.
