Job Description
Hybrid job Mon & Fri home / Tues, Wed & Thur in office
Sr SQL Dev & Data Engineer contractor in place for the BI development in BI, DW, cloud/Azure, and preferred next gen data fabric.
Looking for bad ass data engineers with extensive modeling experience , they are going to write a let code test to demonstrate their experience in synapse , spark and Databricks
Replace Efi Parmer who walked off the job
- Mostly will work on new development & custom requests for BI development, Data Warehouse
Azure Synapse Workspace / Azure SQL DW) as well as Analysis Services and tabular.
- must be a US citizen or Green card holder.
- likely a hybrid DW, but possibly move all to Azure cloud
- SSIS and SSAS are required.
- Deep understanding of cubes.
- a Sr skill set, NOT looking for juniors….
- Azure DW & Azure databases & design
- SQL Server – very strong
- SQL query very strong & building SQL for data modeling
- SQL for Data Mgt ETL
- Very strong analytical & problem solving
- MDM, nice to have
- JSON would be nice to have
- working with design templates would be plus
- exp with Git for source control
- Oracle exp, be plus, not required
- skilled in Microsoft BI stack, preferred
