Job Description
A Change Manager effectively plans, implements, and manages organizational changes while minimizing disruption, engaging employees, and ensuring the organization achieves its desired project or strategy outcomes. Coaches leadership and stakeholders with data and insights around change readiness, impact, and attitude towards change to minimize resistance. Provides techniques, tools, and recommendations to support all levels of the organization to adopt change and adjust cultural traits to ease resistance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Create a change management process to help employees and the organization quickly adopt change.
• Develop training programs and documentation to support teams, leaders, and the organization as they move through change.
• Coach and consult leaders, teams, partners, and individuals to adopt new ways of working and navigating change initiatives.
• Identify any interior or exterior resistance to proposed changes and any associated potential risks and develop management and mitigation plans.
• Conduct studies and analyses to assess how the changes impact employees, if employees are ready to implement proposed changes, and who the key people are to convince employees to implement changes.
• Define, measure, and track metrics to monitor the success of an implemented change.
• Develop tailored change management plans to address audience-specific needs and impacts.
• Develop and execute change communication plans.
• Work with leaders, teams, partners, and individuals across different levels and areas of responsibility to identify and report any issues resulting from a change.
• Actively develop and innovate change management procedures at an organizational level.
• Identifies the organization’s cultural alignment required for the success of the change and corresponding strategies for all employees to embrace the new/adjusted direction.
• Analyses organizational initiatives using technical and industry knowledge in organizational development and change methodologies.
• Identifies risk associated with the change and develops strategies to minimize the organizational impact (operations, productivity, morale, etc.) and proactively reduce disruption.
• In alignment with the project/program manager of the change initiative, the change manager will foster collaboration and coordination among stakeholders and facilitate the integration of the changes into the current operations.
• Assist the Project Management Office and fellow project managers to create change management plans integrated into the project management process.
Education
• Bachelor's degree (Industrial Psychology, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Computer Science, Management of Information systems, or like) from an accredited college/university required.
• Master’s in business administration (MBA) or Master’s in Organizational Development desirable.
• Change management certification or designation strongly preferred (Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP), Prosci Certified Change Practitioner, etc.).
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Scrum (CSM, SSM) certifications desirable.
