Job Description

Reporting to the IT Manager, Digital Workplace, the IT Business Analyst – HR Systems is responsible for the administration, support, and enhancement of the company’s HRIS environment, with primary focus on Workday and related HR integrations.
This role partners closely with HR, Payroll, IT, and external vendors to support core HR processes, including organizational management, recruiting, onboarding, performance management, compensation, time tracking, absence management, and HR reporting.
The position combines HRIS administration, vendor coordination, integration support, reporting, release management, troubleshooting, and production support responsibilities within a global enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Administer and support Workday HR systems and related HR technology platforms
• Support HR business processes including onboarding, organizational changes, time off, performance reviews, compensation, and employee lifecycle management
• Troubleshoot Workday configuration and integration issues to identify and resolve root causes
• Support and maintain Workday integrations with third-party vendors including payroll providers such as Neeyamo, Definitiv, ActivePayroll, and Unit4
• Monitor and troubleshoot file-based and automated HR integrations including SFTP transfers, payroll data feeds, LDAP integrations, Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD provisioning, and identity synchronization workflows
• Partner with HR and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and support business needs
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and vice versa
• Support Workday releases, testing activities, regression validation, and production deployments
• Create and maintain custom reports, calculated fields, and dashboards for business stakeholders
• Maintain HR system documentation, process workflows, and operational procedures
• Coordinate with Workday support and external vendors to resolve production issues and enhancement requests
• Participate in project initiatives involving HR systems enhancements, process improvements, and operational efficiencies
• Provide training and guidance to business users on HR systems functionality and processes
• Support incident management, change management, and service management activities aligned with IT operational standards
• Provide an HRIS systems and integrations roadmap for Workday and related systems, including recommendations for implementation of features and functionality
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related field preferred or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum of 3 years (Preferred 5+) of hands-on Workday administration, configuration, integration, and HR systems support experience required
• Experience supporting one or more Workday functional areas including Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, Talent, or Recruiting preferred
• Experience with Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields, EIBs, Core Connectors, and data migrations
• Experience with Workday Studio, BIRT, PECI or advanced integrations preferred
• Experience supporting HRIS processes in a mid-size or enterprise environment
• Experience supporting integrations with payroll vendors, identity systems, or external HR platforms including Neeyamo, Definitiv, ActivePayroll, Unit4, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure AD, and LDAP
• Experience supporting identity management, provisioning, and file-based integrations including Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD, LDAP, SFTP, and automated data exchange processes preferred
• Experience with reporting, troubleshooting, testing, and production support activities
• Experience gathering requirements, documenting processes, and supporting system implementations
• Familiarity with Workday Business Process Framework
• Understanding of HR data management, payroll data exchange processes, vendor coordination, and systems governance practices
• Experience coordinating with cross-functional business and technical teams
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
• Self-sufficient with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a production support environment
• Experience with IT service management, release coordination, or change management processes preferred
Certifications Preferred
• Workday HCM or Workday Platform Administrator certification required
• Workday Integration certification preferred
• Workday Studio certification or equivalent hands-on Studio experience preferred
