Senior Power Platform Developer Reports To: Manager - IT Collaborative Systems Employment Type: Full-Time Position Summary We are seeking a Senior Power Platform Developer to design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Pages/Copilot Studio). This role will lead the development of scalable, secure low-code/no-code applications that integrate with Microsoft 365, Dataverse, Azure services, and third-party systems, while establishing governance standards and mentoring junior developers. Key Responsibilities ● Design, develop, and deploy canvas and model-driven Power Apps to solve complex business problems ● Build and optimize Power Automate flows (cloud, desktop/RPA, and business process flows) for process automation across departments ● Architect Dataverse solutions, including table design, relationships, business rules, and security roles ● Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards, including data modeling and DAX calculations ● Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Outlook), Dynamics 365, Azure Logic Apps/Functions, and external APIs ● Establish and enforce governance frameworks including Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), environment strategy, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies ● Lead code reviews, solution architecture decisions, and technical documentation ● Mentor junior developers and citizen developers; provide guidance on best practices ● Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the platform ● Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions ● Stay current with Power Platform roadmap updates, including AI Builder and Copilot Studio capabilities Required Qualifications ● 5+ years of experience developing solutions on Microsoft Power Platform ● Strong expertise in Power Apps (canvas and model-driven), Power Automate, and Dataverse ● Experience with Power Platform ALM (solutions, pipelines, source control integration via Azure DevOps or GitHub) ● Solid understanding of Power Platform governance, security roles, and environment management ● Experience integrating with Microsoft 365, Azure services, and REST/SOAP APIs ● Familiarity with Power BI data modeling and DAX ● Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on complex projects ● Excellent communication skills, with ability to work directly with business stakeholders Preferred Qualifications ● Microsoft certifications: PL-400 (Power Platform Developer), PL-600 (Solution Architect), or PL-200 ● Experience with Copilot Studio / AI Builder ● Background in Dynamics 365 customization ● Experience with Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines ● Knowledge of SQL and data warehousing concepts ● Experience in a regulated or enterprise governance environment Education ● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
